Packing for a romantic weekend away is, I think, all about nice textures. Stylish comfort is key. Weekends away with your love are not the time for high-maintenance glam, as the point is to spend less time in the bathroom or in front of a full-length mirror and more time with him or her.

- Comfy trousers are nicer to travel in than restricting jeans.
